Clash up: Memphis Maniacs & Kamarata Zuid tour

Mashup band Memphis Maniacs and the renowned Kamerata Zuid String Orchestra have joined forces in a unique musical experience.

After a successful tryout last year, we proudly present their “CLASHUP” tour in 2020; a cultural hybrid of musical heritage.

Wow, a cultural hybrid of musical heritage. But how does that manifest?

Think of a twisted musical affair where the boundaries between genres evaporate due to a nuclear fusion of classical and pop music in the broadest sense. No elegant accompaniment or addition from the orchestra, but a true fusion of two musical worlds in which the roles are often reversed without losing the magical balance of elements.

Where innovative friction is not shunned during a show where the classics of Vivaldi, Mozart and associates, also known as the rock stars of yesteryear, are thrown in the blender with pop, rock and dance.
