Night of Peace

PAX for peace is a non-profit, non-governmental peace organisation working in The Netherlands and around the world. Their aim is to bring about peace, reconciliation and justice in the world by working with people and organisations in conflict areas.

The UN has declared the 21st of September the International Day of Peace and this is also the start of the international peace-week which was initiated by PAX decades ago. In addition to this week PAX introduced Night of  Peace, which will be held for the fifth time. This is an event for youth, with music, politics, debate and culture.

To raise awareness for this noble cause and help make the concept and organization of the Night of Peace into a great success PAX has hired Treat Amsterdam. The original concept will be revised and the number of participating venues will be greatly increased. Together with PAX we will spread the peace in the capital this year, and many more to come.
